This past weekend, my mom, sisters and I headed over to Nantucket for our annual girls weekend. We started the day early and caught the 8am high-speed ferry over to the island. We decided to head to Surfside Beach as soon as we arrived. The weather didn't really cooperate at first and the fog was really thick. We decided to take naps on the beach while waiting for the sun to come out. Sure enough it did and we enjoyed a few hours of the waves and water at Surfside. Later, we headed into town for some lunch and shopping. We had a delicious lunch at the Tavern (next to the gazebo) and then enjoyed an ice cream from the Juice Bar. After we had enough shopping we headed home on the last ferry back to Hyannis. Here is a picture of Steph and I enjoying some shopping...
