We're a little late posting as Memorial Day weekend was busy. Mike had to work both Saturday and Monday and I was busy planting flowers and getting our yard in order for my sister, Stephanie's bridal shower in a few weeks. Our yard is about an acre so we have a big piece of property to take care of. As luck would have it, our old riding lawn mower broke down this weekend. It was given to us by a friend for free two years ago when we bought the house. Granted it was about 20 yrs old and backfired alot but it did the job until Saturday when it started smoking and wouldn't cut a blade of grass. So Mike and his dad went lawn mower shopping and Mike came home with a used riding lawn mower that only had about 70 hours on it. It was a great bargain and works much better than the old one. On Sunday, we took a day off from the yard and headed down to the Cape for my friend Erin and Jason's annual cookout in Osterville. We also made a quick pit spot to Four Seas Ice Cream as it was opening weekend. I've been craving lots of ice cream since becoming pregnant! My sister, Colleen came over our house on Monday. We put together the shower favors for Steph's shower and then took a break for lunch at the Cabby Shack in Plymouth. It was a nice way to end the long, gorgeous weekend!
